ABOUT THE TOUR

The Chicago Golf Tour offers 3 traditional tours: North Side Tour, South Side Tour & West Side Tour. Each tour is a singles, flighted, net handicap, tournament rule, stroke play format. Members are given 2 weeks to play the said scheduled event. You must play with another member on tour to attest to your score and for your round to be official. Each tour utilizes handicap flights and a FEDEX Cup style point system with event payouts for gross & net and a Championship day purse. The CGT is a great way to network, meet like minded golfers and compete against players of your caliber.

  • A Flight - 0-5

    B Flight - 5.1-10

    C Flight - 10.1-14

    D Flight - 14.1-18

    E Flight - 18+

    Establishing HDCP - Members who come in without a handicap will play at a 0 until 2 events are posted. A handicap will then begin to trend & said member will be placed into the appropriate flight

    • Event Payout Pot % (based on 5 flights)

      • Regular Events (5) - 25%

      • Majors (4) - 25%

      • Regular Season Flight Champions - 10%

    • Playoffs (2) - 10%

    • Championship Day Purse - 30%
